Carved Marble Jali fretwork window from Rajasthan. These windows gave privacy while allowing a cooling breeze to enter the building. They were used in Mughal palaces and havelis - the stylish homes of wealthy -  This one has been made into a beautiful coffee table - It is supplied on a wrought iron base with a 10mm toughened glass top.
The marble for these tables is still carved by hand in the old fashion way by skilled craftsmen in small workshops in Rajasthan.
