Handcrafted from solid teak, the doorway features an elaborately carved floral and foliate frieze, deeply moulded frame, and traditional studded double doors, all highlighted by a softly weathered lime-washed finish that accentuates the intricate carving and natural grain of the timber.

Traditionally used for receiving visitors, passing parcels, or allowing conversation without opening the full entrance, this practical architectural detail reflects the ingenuity of traditional Kutchi craftsmanship.
