Dog gates were used in front of the main entrance door of Gujarati Havelis to keep animals out. This one is made from teak wood and has beautifully aged blue paint. 

They make very interesting & decorative garden gates & are suitable for outdoor use. This particular piece has a beautifully carved central panel showing a repeating floral pattern.
